Allan Macpherson House and Park $65,000 over two years to develop and offer an interactive, heritage education program for seniors and youth on household arts of the 1800s and to support the renovation of the summer kitchen.
Alwood Treatment Centre Inc. $25,000 over one year to set up a therapeutic recreational program for youth to promote physical health education and enhance their ability to abstain from drug and alcohol abuse.
Bay of Quinte Yacht Club Sailing School $19,000 over one year to assist the club offer safe and enjoyable summer sailing courses to 120 youth by helping it purchase a new instructor safety boat and make improvements to boats and equipment.
Belleville Youth Swim Team $21,500 over one year to support competitive swimming and promote swimming as a means of healthy exercise for children (ages 6 to 18) in the Belleville area.
Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kingston $66,800 over one year to set up a drop-in and summer recreational camp to promote life skills development for youth (ages 12 to 18).
Brockville Community Choir $5,000 over one year towards a Musical Director and Accompanist to develop the musical ability of choir members and to offer quality, accessible concerts to the community.
Carleton Place Aquatic Club $6,000 over ten months to hire two female coaches and provide the necessary accreditation and training to enable the organization to attract and retain more girls in the aquatic program.
Carleton Place & Beckwith Historical Society $37,500 over 18 months to create a new exhibit that will demonstrate the significance of the role played by local residents and enhance the social history of the community.
Centre social et culturel Frontenac $80,000 over four years to sustain the Centre's activities and ensure its long-term stability in providing cultural, social and recreation opportunities to the Francophone community in Kingston.
Children's Mental Health Services (Hastings and Prince Edward) $13,000 over one month to purchase puppets and resource materials to expand to all elementary aged children in Hastings and Prince Edwards an interactive puppet show addressing challenges that children face.
Children's Nursery Centre $17,500 over one year for renovations and repairs to the Children's Nursery Centre in Marmora to improve accessibility and safety for children with special needs.
Civitan Club of Almonte $22,000 over five months for renovations and improvements of the Almonte Civitan Community Hall to provide an improved space for meetings and social events for local residents and organizations.
Civitan Club of Perth $20,000 over one year to create a multi-sport and recreation field for use by residents of area municipalities.
Community Development Council of Quinte $25,000 over one year to establish self-help food security programs providing access to low cost nutritious food to residents in the North Hastings area.
Community Oriented Sentencing Program (Quinte) $25,000 over one year to expand into Hastings and Prince Edward County the Youthreach Program for at-risk youth or youth in conflict with the law.
Cooper & Remington Women's Institute $16,100 over one year for improvements to the Coopers and Remington Women's Institute Hall to increase community use and access. Improvements will include kitchen renovations, installing a new floor, carpeting and air conditioning.
Dr. James Naismith Basketball Foundation $19,500 over one year to coordinate a summer sports day camp and year-long recreational programs for children and youth in the Almonte area and surrounding communities.
Education for Quality Accessibility (Canada), Brockville $45,000 over two years to hire a part-time project coordinator to educate the public about the importance of providing barrier free access for people with physical disabilities, conduct surveys and assess the accessibility of facilities, provide consultations, and increase membership.
Festival of the Islands Inc. $23,000 over six months to enhance the sustainability of the Festival of the Islands, a ten-day family oriented event held in Gananoque, featuring heritage and recreational activities, entertainment, nightly concerts and fireworks.
h'art studio - school of smiles inc. $20,800 over one year to expand this creative arts program for people with special needs in the Kingston area through providing a full-time art director.

Kingston Community Ballet Association Inc. $9,400 over one year to purchase an acoustic piano and humidifiers to improve classroom conditions and provide educational activities for young amateur dancers.
Kingston Family YMCA $75,000 over six months to renovate the Kingston Family YMCA to improve accessibility and better serve the community by repairing the elevator and gymnasium floor, retrofitting the main floor lobby and washrooms and installing a pool lift.
Kingston Home Base Non-Profit Housing Inc $147,700 over three years to develop and operate a Housing Help Centre to assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Kingston area by offering a housing registry, housing outreach services, a voice mail service and a drop-in centre.
Kingston Independent Living Resource Centre $40,000 over one year to support people with disabilities to secure employment and supports to live independently in the community by supporting a full-time position to support consumers to secure services, income supports and resources.
Kingston Youth Shelter Project $88,000 over two years to provide emergency shelter and community services to homeless youth 16 to 24.
Lanark County Interval House $9,400 over three months to promote and stage the week-long multi-media Artsfusion Festival May 29 to June 4, 2000 in Almonte. The festival will showcase the talents of 135 local artists and performers.

Napanee Lions Club $57,300 over one year to repair the roof of the Napanee Lions Club Community Hall for the benefit and safety of the many community residents and organizations that use the space.
North Hastings Community Integration Association $45,600 over two years to hire a part-time Early Intervention Co-ordinator to educate children about disability issues, enhance the Tutoring for Kids Program, promote partnerships and to further develop resource materials.

Ontario Public Interest Research Group (Kingston) Inc. $17,000 over one year for Kingston's 2002 Reel Out film festival, a film and video festival that brings together diverse members of Kingston and the surrounding communities.
Perth and District Food Bank $4000 over one year to purchase a new computer to increase organizational capacity and access to the Internet which will facilitate communications with provincial and national Food Bank organizations.
Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association $101,600 over 18 months to expand services to clients, augment the volunteer base and increase fundraising capacity through the establishment of a satellite office/storefront.

Quinte Arts Council $2500 over one year to help fund an evening of music and poetry as part of a memorial tribute to Al Purdy, a poet and long-time resident of the area.
Quinte Arts Council $113,000 over three years to strengthen Quinte's cultural infrastructure through increased and improved computer and communications technology and a full-time information officer.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 78, Picton $40,000 over six months to cover the cost of carpentry work as part of a renovation to restore and upgrade the Legion which has been designated a heritage site since 1986.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 110 $17,700 over three months towards a wheelchair ramp to improve access to the Legion Hall which is used extensively by community organizations.
