$44,400 over one year to survey leisure preferences and participation in King Township, and to engage the public in defining priorities for sports, recreation, arts and culture in the area.

$75,000 over one year to support the construction and landscaping of a modular playground, which will enable special needs and able-bodied children to participate in fun recreational activities together.

Oak Ridges Trail Association
$33,500 over one year to enable volunteer teams to maintain a 200-km trail network throughout the Oak Ridges Moraine by purchasing new trail maintenance equipment. The trail enhances environmental awareness and attracts tourists to the area.

Orillia & District Big Brothers Association
$60,000 over two years to support an in-school mentoring program for at-risk children in North Simcoe.

Orillia Naturalists Club
$18,500 over six months to enhance a 500 metre section of the Uhthoff Trail by planting indigenous trees and by installing a fence, a windbreak and interpretive signs so that residents and visitors will be able to fully enjoy and appreciate the area.

Orillia Presbyterian Church (St. Andrew's)
$60,500 over one year to upgrade this heritage building’s heating and electrical systems so that it can continue to be used by the public for community programming.

Perkinsfield Parks & Recreation Association
$5,000 over six months to support renovations to an outdoor skating rink that is used by the community year round for roller hockey, ball hockey, skateboarding, basketball, ice skating and ice hockey.

Pulsars Gymnastic Club
$56,000 over three months to replace old equipment in order to provide safe and high quality gymnastic programs to children and youth in the Newmarket area.

Quest Gallery and Huronia School of Visual Arts
$8,000 over one year to provide visual arts instruction and to introduce a visual arts summer school in Midland-Penetanguishene.

$56,500 over nine months to purchase training and testing equipment for both cyclists and skiers who participate in club and development programs at the Canadian Cycling Association's National Development Centre.

$75,000 over one year to improve and expand a program for homeless people in York Region called “Out of the Cold,” by renovating and equipping space used for the program.

$23,800 over six months to enable this community theatre to operate more efficiently by purchasing a computerized box office database system and to generate additional revenue through enhanced marketing.

$52,000 over two years to expand transportation services for frail seniors and people with disabilities, and for fundraising development activities.

Unionville Theatre Company
$73,000 over three years to increase opportunities for York Region youth to participate in amateur musical theatre training and performance, and to build this amateur theatre company's revenue-generating capacity.

United Way of York Region
$304,000 over five years to help organizations develop core organizational strengths and increase effectiveness by providing professional consultants to complete capacity-building projects in-house and by upgrading the skills of volunteer trainers.

$150,000 over two years to make the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre completely accessible to people with a range of disabilities by removing visual, aural, physical and learning barriers.

Wyevale Parks & Recreation Association Inc.
$20,000 over one year to support renovations to an outdoor skating rink that is used by the community year round for roller hockey, ball hockey, skateboarding, basketball, ice skating and ice hockey.

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care
$225,000 over three years to introduce a day program for seniors, develop a more diverse volunteer base, and build new partnerships in order to enhance palliative care services for Chinese-Canadians in the region.

York Region Food Network
$60,000 over three years to enhance and expand fundraising, marketing and volunteer development for the support of community based initiatives aimed at increasing access to affordable, nutritious food for people in York Region.

York Region Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Service
$31,000 over one year to recruit and train volunteers for a second Victim Response Team that will enable the organization to offer 24-hour crisis intervention across York Region.
