Brant/Brantford Children's Water Festival c/o Grand River Conservation Authority $99,800 over three years to develop materials, attract volunteers and establish a children's water festival for the district that will educate students and their parents about water conservation and water quality issues.
Brantford's Canada Day Festival $43,900 over one year to enhance the promotion of the city’s new Canada Day Festival. This will attract high levels of corporate sponsorship and large audiences, building the Festival's sustainability and increasing tourism.
Burford Co-operative Preschool Corp. $5,000 over two years to purchase instruments, an audio system, CDs and resources for music programming at a small rural preschool in Burford. This will encourage strong parent participation and high-quality music instruction for young children.
Canadian Drilling Rig Museum $4,500 to rebuild and re-erect the drilling derrick of this museum in Raihman Centre, which is dedicated exclusively to the history and development of the natural gas industry in Canada.
Canfield Community Centre Corporation $8,000 over six months to make the entrance and washroom of this community hall accessible to people with disabilities, making it safer and easy to use by all members of the community.
Doors Open Brant c/o Canadian Industrial Heritage Centre $22,500 over two years to engage volunteers and market the 2005 Doors Open Brant festival, which will attract more visitors and promote interest in the rich culture and history of Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations and New Credit region.
The Friends of Myrtleville House $15,200 to repair, repaint and restore the Myrtleville House Museum, which will ensure quality programming is maintained and enhance the experience of visitors to the second floor of this Brantford house built in 1837.
Haldimand Grand River Rowing Club c/o Haldimand Association for the Developmentally Challenged $42,200 over one year to recruit and train coaches and coxswains, develop rowing programs and attract new members. This will provide healthy physical recreation for adults and young people of all abilities in Haldimand County.
Haldimand-Norfolk Work Group of Simcoe - Abel Enterprises $40,000 over one year to design and build school desks for children with physical disabilities. This will increase employment for clients with mental health disabilities and provide a needed product to area schools.
Jerseyville-Langford Co-operative Nursery School Inc. $2,500 over one year for promotional materials, shelving, book sets and a locking cabinet to expand a reading program for rural preschool children aged 30 months to 5 years in this community east of Brantford.
Kinsmen Club of Simcoe, Ontario $75,000 to construct a new splash pad in Simcoe, which will increase opportunities for healthy affordable family recreation in the summertime.
Paris Parks Foundation $22,500 to develop a system of barrier-free walking trails that will link parks and greenbelt areas within the Nith River and Grand River valleys. This will provide a source of enjoyment and healthy outdoor recreation for members of the community.
Simcoe Lions Club Inc $5,700 to complete a needs assessment and feasibility study, which will lead to the development of a business plan for the construction of a 700-seat theatre facility in Simcoe.
St. George Co-operative Nursery School $2,300 over one year to develop communication materials in order to attract and support parent volunteers. This will help them to provide a safe and caring child-care environment that promotes education, school readiness and social and life skills.
Sutton Restoration Steering Committee c/o Simcoe & District Fish and Game Club $28,000 over one year to restore a cold water stream and reforest former reservoir lands, which will enhance the wildlife habitat and create an environmental recreation area in the north end of Simcoe.
True Experience Supportive Housing and Community Work Program $44,000 over one year towards the purchase of a van and truck. These vehicles will provide people with mental health disabilities with transportation to work assignments, ensuring this organization in Dunville can continue providing employment opportunities for them.

Cottonwood Mansion Preservation Foundation $20,000 over one year to ensure the future sustainability of this Victorian-era heritage building located near Selkirk by providing staff support for partnership development and marketing.
The Norfolk Singers (Arcady) $32,900 over two years to enable this Simcoe-based music group to establish new audiences so that its talented young performers will continue to offer concerts throughout Southern Ontario.
Old Town Hall Association $75,000 over one year to support the restoration of the Waterford Old Town Hall, which will create a large and accessible performance space for local cultural groups.

Aquatic Facility Improvement Committee c/o Brantford Aquatic Club $12,000 over one year to conduct a study of the Wayne Gretzky Sport Centre to determine how best to meet the needs of the wide range of aquatic groups who use the centre.
Brant Community Protocol for Infants Living in At-Risk Environments c/o Addiction Services of Brant Inc. $12,300 over 10 months to enhance early identification and intervention services and assist local agencies in providing coordinated service delivery to infants living in at-risk environments in Brantford and Brant County.
Brantford Aquatic Club $45,800 to purchase competitive swimming equipment so that the club can continue to attract major provincial and national swimming meets and provide high quality training and competitive opportunities for swimmers.
Hagersville Lawn Bowling Club c/o Ontario Lawn Bowls Association $13,300 over eight months to purchase equipment and upgrade the facility to make it safer and more attractive, which will result in increased membership in the club.
Safe Grad / Sage Party Committee c/o Addiction Services of Brant Inc. $15,000 over eight months to produce and distribute a youth-focused DVD/video in Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk counties that will raise awareness about the consequences of substance abuse.

Charter of Rights for Children & Youth c/o Haldimand-Norfolk Resource Education and Counselling Help $4,800 over six months to assist community members including children, parents, schools, agencies and businesses in raising awareness of the locally developed Charter of Rights for Children and Youth.
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Brant County Chapter c/o Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Ontario Division $30,000 over one year to hire a consultant to create a resource development and communications plan, transfer resource development planning skills to local staff and volunteers and to train local staff and volunteers on MS Society fundraising database.
Nova Vita Domestic Violence Prevention Services $12,100 over six months to increase access to safe affordable shelter for families which have experienced domestic violence.
Paris Pipe Band c/o Optimist Club of Paris Inc. $59,600 over two years to develop a resource development and sustainability plan and to provide additional equipment so that youth can continue to participate in this successful local pipe and drum marching band.
Pine Tree Native Centre of Brant $68,700 over one year to safeguard an important aboriginal heritage and tourism site in Brantford.
Rotary Club of Dunnville Charitable Foundation $33,100 over three years to increase access to winter swimming for children in Dunnville.
Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, Indian Reserve No. 40 - Health and Safety Committee $6,200 to assist with the costs of the Six Nations hosting the first ever conference on First Nations Health and Safety.
Varency House c/o Children's Aid Society of Haldimand & Norfolk $24,300 to ensure that residents of the new group home for children near Jarvis, have access to transportation needed for recreational programs and medical appointments.

Brant and District Football Club (Bisons) $9,200 to purchase helmets, shoulder pads and other safety equipment to allow more children and youth in the Brantford area to participate in recreational tackle football.
Brant Native Homes Incorporated $24,000 over six months to study the feasibility of developing a transitional housing complex to provide affordable modest accommodation to native people in Brantford who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Brantford Minor Lacrosse Association Inc. $10,000 over six months to construct an office and storage area in Lions Park Arena where lacrosse equipment can be properly stored and maintained during the winter, increasing the useful life of the equipment.
Federated Women's Institute of Canada $19,100 over one year to renovate and improve the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead and to expand its heritage programming so that more adults, children and groups will visit this national historic site located in St. George.
Golden Horseshoe Antique Society. $10,000 to renovate and purchase furnishings for the York Parish Hall to encourage more residents and groups in Haldimand County to use the facility for their community events.
Paris Lawn Bowling Club c/o Optimist Club of Paris $12,800 over one year to purchase a greens mower and lawn bowling equipment to provide more residents of Paris the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive lawn bowling.
Port Dover Lions Club $18,300 to purchase and install new playground equipment in Lions Park to provide a safe recreational activity for young children in this growing community.

A.L.E.R.T c/o Victim Services of Brant $20,000 to evaluate the effectiveness of the ALERT program, an early warning protection system for victims of domestic violence in Brant, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
AKA: WE Canoe Club - Six Nations Council $20,000 over six months to assist in the purchase of a dragon boat and competitive canoes and kayaks to promote a healthy activity and reintroduce a traditional sport to the Six Nations community.
Big Sisters of Brant County $18,000 over six months to assist the Brantford agency to bring its policies and procedures in line with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada's national standards.
Brant County Youth Singers $25,000 over one year to assist the Brant Children’s Choir to establish a permanent home base and to strengthen the organization behind this well-known, accomplished children’s choir.
Brantford Community Foundation Inc. $37,600 over two years to strengthen the organization and provide training for staff, Board members and volunteers to enhance the foundation’s ability to support community initiatives.
Brantford Youth Boxing Club c/o Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada, Brant County 2/10th Dragoons, Unit 341 $25,000 over 10 months to assist the club to host the Canadian National Intermediate Boxing Championships in Brantford in February 2005, which will have a positive impact on the local economy.
Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre $40,200 over one year to purchase computer equipment and provide additional programming so more young adults with developmental disabilities in Brantford can pursue academic and life skills programs after finishing high school.
Haldimand Wrestling Club c/o Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association $22,300 over one year to purchase new wrestling mats and an electronic scale to enhance the health, safety and skills of participants and to assist in the outreach activities of the Hagersville club.
Lynn River 'State of the Watershed' Steering Committee c/o Simcoe District Fish and Game Club $4,000 over six months to prepare and distribute a report card on the health of the Lynn River watershed to raise environmental awareness in the community.
Ontario Genealogical Society, Brant County Branch c/o Ontario Genealogical Society $24,900 over 10 months to produce and distribute a historical account of runaway American slaves who sought freedom and settled in the Grand River area in Ontario.
Trout Unlimited Canada-Middle Grand River Chapter c/o Trout Unlimited Canada $16,500 over one year to assist volunteers with environmental monitoring of cold water streams in the Grand River watershed.

Dalhousie Place, Brantford & District Supervised Access Centre $48,000 over two years to increase supportive services for children experiencing high conflict separation and divorce.
Haldimand Youth Soccer Club Inc. $10,500 to purchase a heavy-duty riding mower, leverage the volunteer hours required to maintain the Cayuga soccer park and reduce operating costs.
The Lower Grand River Land Trust Inc. $75,000 over one year help restore an important 19th century building into a visitor centre for the Ruthven Park National Historic Site located in Cayuga.
Norfolk County Agricultural Society $80,000 over two years to enhance the marketing and tourism potential of the Norfolk County Fair located in Simcoe.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 $16,100 to purchase a new furnace and complete roof repairs at this community facility located in Paris. The Royal Canadian Legion Waterford (Ont No 123) Branch $15,000 over one year to develop a community park picnic area located in Waterford that will be used free of charge for family activities and community events.
Simcoe Christmas Panorama Inc. $12,000 over one year to purchase energy efficient lights and help purchase a new display for the Simcoe Christmas Panorama (SCP) festival.
Simcoe Lawn Bowling Club c/o Ontario Lawn Bowls Association $12,500 to replace equipment that will assist volunteers with the ongoing maintenance of the lawn bowling greens at the club.
