Bancroft Seniors Club c/o United Seniors Citizens of Ontario $64,400 over one year to renovate the club's community meeting hall, making it fully accessible and more energy efficient to better serve the community.
Belleville Youth Swim Team $5,000 over one year to host the BEAST Kids of Steel Triathlon in Belleville, promoting healthy physical activity for up to 300 participants aged 6 to 17 years.
Centre social et culturel Frontenac $37,200 over one year to enhance the centre's audio systems and develop the recording capacity. Volunteers and students will be trained to operate the equipment and the Kingston community will benefit from professional quality of productions.
Community Living Prince Edward $53,700 over one year to establish the Healthy Lunch Box catering initiative in Picton, providing training and work experience to six people with developmental disabilities and supplying affordable, nutritious lunches to local elementary schools.
Corporation of the Town of Deseronto $69,000 over one year to renovate and repair the Deseronto Library, making accessibility improvements that include a barrier-free washroom and front entrance and a new heating system.
Corporation of the Town of Mississippi Mills $16,000 over one year to purchase a digital microfilm viewer-scanner for the library in Almonte, which will help preserve local heritage documents and make them more accessible to the public.
Corporation of the Town of Prescott $23,100 over one year to purchase furniture and provide a wheelchair lift for the library, which will increase its physical accessibility and improve its safety, comfort and usability for community members.
County of Lennox and Addington Public Library $57,100 over one year to establish a library service point at the County of Lennox and Addington Museum & Archives in Napanee that specializes in local history and provides genealogical-reference assistance to the community.
Education for Quality Accessibility (Canada) $17,500 over one year to undertake an organizational review and develop a business plan to address the challenges related to changing realities and diminishing volunteers.
Hospice Prince Edward $70,000 over two years to help create and implement a plan to enhance volunteer recruitment, training and management and to develop resource materials and a website, improving care and support to people who are terminally ill and their families.
John Howard Society of Belleville and District c/o John Howard Society Ontario $25,000 over one year to undertake a community needs assessment for Belleville and district residents with criminal justice system involvement and to develop support services.
Kingston Lacrosse Association $18,000 over one year to train volunteer coaches and purchase safety equipment, which will result in more opportunities for young people to participate in box lacrosse in the Kingston area.
Kingston Skating Club $19,800 over one year to purchase equipment, help market the club and fund operating costs, providing local young people and adults with affordable skating instruction.
Kingston Youth Shelter Project $44,800 over one year to provide new daytime services that will assist shelter residents and homeless youth and produce a business plan to guide the development of the agency.
Lanark Transportation Association $35,000 over six months to help purchase a van that will provide accessible and affordable transportation for eligible residents of Lanark County and Smiths Falls.
Municipality of Centre Hastings $50,000 over six months to purchase a new playground structure for the village of Madoc, providing children aged 1 to 12 years with opportunities for physical activity and fun.
Museum of Health Care at Kingston $55,400 over one year to develop and post on the museum’s website a template for web-based exhibits on the history and science of health and health care in Canada.
North Frontenac Minor Hockey Association $14,700 over one year to purchase equipment, ice time and teaching that will provide children and youth with a positive opportunity to develop hockey skills through a well-developed grassroots program.
Ongwanada Hospital $58,300 over one year to build an accessible, therapeutic sensory garden in Kingston designed for people with physical and developmental disabilities and available for public enjoyment.
Ontario Senior Games Winterfest 2007 Organizing Committee c/o Ontario Senior Games Association $49,700 over one year to recruit, train and provide services to 500 volunteers for the successful delivery of Ontario Senior Games Winterfest 2007 in the Brockville-Eastern-Ontario region.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240 Almonte $24,500 over one year to purchase energy-efficient appliances and renovate the kitchen facilities at the legion, which will enable the branch to expand community services and encourage volunteerism.
Royal Canadian Legion Upper Rideau Branch 542 $45,700 over one year to renovate the community hall in Westport, improving the safety, comfort and accessibility of this frequently used community hall.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 280 $47,500 over one year to renovate, repair and make accessibility improvements to the legion hall in Deseronto, including a new roof and fully accessible washroom, which will enable greater use by the community.
Rural Volunteer Capacity Development Initiative c/o Country Roads Community Health Centre $140,000 over three years to provide a program that will improve the capacity of rural community residents in North Leeds and North Lanark to participate in meaningful and inclusive volunteer practices and activities.
Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, Kingston & Southeast Region c/o The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario $74,100 over two years to streamline services and provide improved access to training and resources for families and individuals living with schizophrenia in Southeast Ontario.
Tyendinaga Fifty Niners Senior Citizens Club c/o Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte $25,000 over one year to renovate and make accessibility improvements to this well-used community hall, enabling greater access and participation in recreation and leisure pursuits by community members.

Cantabile Choirs of Kingston $11,000 over one year to acquire educational resources that will enhance the performing capabilities of the Cantabile Choirs and help develop a new men's choir.
Carleton Place & District Youth Centre $34,500 over 18 months to build the organization’s capacity to increase community awareness and assist youth to build new skills through volunteerism.
Connect Youth Inc. $49,000 over one year to expand services to three rural satellite locations, establishing an accessible connection to physical, mental and social health services for youth in the rural area surrounding Prescott.
CORK/Sail Kingston Inc. $52,400 over one year to purchase inflatable boats, accessories and safety equipment to enhance on-water safety and skill development for participants in CORK/Sail Kingston Inc.’s annual regatta.
Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place $40,900 over one year to purchase equipment that will upgrade the technological capabilities of the Carleton Place Library and enhance accessibility to its collection, enabling it to better meet the needs of the community.
Ferguson's Falls Community Hall Association $25,000 for renovations to increase the community hall’s accessibility and improve its comfort and safety for all members of the community.
Frontenac Transportation Service (FTS) c/o Northern Frontenac Community Services $75,000 over two years towards establishing a community transportation program, which will provide rural residents of North and Central Frontenac and the Bedford District of South Frontenac with affordable and accessible transportation.
Hillier Women's Institute c/o Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario $20,000 over six months to make the entrance and washrooms of the Hillier Community Hall more accessible to people with disabilities and mobility impairments, enabling greater use by more Prince Edward County residents.
Kemptville and District Minor Hockey Association $18,000 over 28 months to improve coaches’ abilities and their access to information, which will translate into better skill acquisition for minor league hockey players.
Kingston Aeros Trampoline Club $25,000 for equipment and materials to improve safety and expand community opportunities for participation in trampolining.
Kingston and Area Olympic Wrestling Club $25,000 to purchase new wrestling mats and dummies that will improve safety and encourage skill development for participants.
Kingston Family YMCA $48,000 over one year to replace the fitness room floor, which will improve the facilities and encourage participation in physical and recreational activities in the community.
Kingston Home Base Non-Profit Housing Inc. $64,700 over two years towards supporting homeless people in the City of Kingston and surrounding area to secure and maintain permanent affordable housing.
Kingston Potters Guild $35,700 over one year to replace equipment used by various levels of ceramic artisans in the Kingston area to make it safer.
Lanark Health & Community Services $25,000 over one year to increase the number of opportunities available for children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities to participate in the therapeutic horseback riding program.
Leeds & Grenville Program for Lifelong Learning $25,000 over two years to expand life-long learning opportunities to the members of the rural community who are retired throughout Leeds Grenville and South Lanark.
Loyalist Cultural Centre $75,000 over two years to enhance operating support to the United Empire Loyalist Heritage Centre and Park in Adolphustown, which will increase the number of visitors and provide related economic benefit to the surrounding rural community.
Mission Employable c/o East Central Training Board $87,200 over two years to offer employment and career resources, employer forums and workplace-based experiences to students in jeopardy of not graduating from high school and early school leavers in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte $75,000 over one year to construct two soccer pitches on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory to benefit soccer players of all ages from the local and surrounding communities.
Municipality of Hastings Highlands $27,200 over one year to obtain new resources and make improvements to the children's section of Hastings Highlands library in Maynooth, which will provide an early years literacy program.
Ontario Genealogical Society, Leeds & Grenville Branch c/o Ontario Genealogical Society $34,100 over six months to replace outdated research equipment, which will improve access to historical information, the number of requests that are processed and the speed of service to the client community.
Partners in Mission Food Bank $34,700 over six months to acquire a new forklift, which will improve volunteer safety, and allow this Kingston organization to make optimal use of available storage space.
Quinte Ballet School of Canada $9,300 over six months to purchase a new piano and piano cradles, which will enhance recreational and professional dance instruction benefiting over 245 community recreational dance students, 65 full-time professional and 150 summer dance students.
Quinte Region Food Sharing Shelter Inc. $29,500 over one year for operating costs and the purchase a new weigh scale, which will enable the organization to continue to receive and distribute food donations to food banks serving low-income people throughout the Quinte area.
Quinte Regional Chapter of SPEBSQSA Inc. $23,800 over six months to purchase new risers, equipment and uniforms for the Trentones Barbershop Harmony Society, enhancing safety and performance quality.
Quinte Vocational Support Services $30,700 over six months to purchase equipment and software, which will provide computer-generated virtual reality learning and rehabilitation experiences for people with intellectual disabilities in the Quinte area.
Quinte West Community Greenhouse and Community Gardens $24,200 over three years to operate, repair and improve the community greenhouse and its equipment, ensuring it continues to provide fresh produce to food banks and organizations serving over 7,000 families in need in the Quinte community each year.
Rideau Environmental Action League (REAL) $30,000 over one year to support the creation of a regional re-use centre, which will simultaneously create job skills and employment opportunities while also promoting environmentally friendly waste management opportunities in the Smith Falls area.
St. John Ambulance, Cornwall Branch c/o St. John Council for Ontario $10,000 over one year to purchase a mobile first-aid post and develop a marketing study, which will build organizational capacity, increase community awareness, attract volunteers and improve services. (An additional grant of $47,800 in Champlain will support this initiative).
Smiths Falls Lions Club $17,000 for renovations to improve the accessibility, security and energy efficiency of this community hall, making it easier to use by community members participating in seniors’ activities and family functions.
Township of Stirling-Rawdon $60,000 over one year to purchase equipment for a new children's playground and a skateboard park, which will improve safety while encouraging healthy outdoor activity for children and youth in Stirling-Rawdon.

704 Airforce City, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron $20,000 over one year to repair and improve the Squadron's training facility near Bancroft, benefiting 80 youth participants aged 12 to 19 years.
Brockville Gymny Krickets Gymnastics Club $39,300 over one year to replace an aging spring floor and training equipment, promoting participation in gymnastics by children of all ages and all levels of ability.
Brockville Yacht Club $25,000 over six months to create barrier-free access to the building and grounds, helping to encourage participation in community activities taking place at this facility.
Community Response Neighbourhood Concerns - Area 1 $75,000 over one year towards the construction of a splash pad outdoor water playground in Shannon Park, offering safe and active outdoor-recreation opportunities to children and youth in the underserved North Kingston neighbourhood.
Continuing on in Education, Quinte, Inc. $36,000 over two years to offer a summer social- recreational program to adult students with special needs in the Quinte area.
The Corporation of the Village of Westport $25,000 over one year to promote the library as an active and vital part of the community's social and intellectual life by enhancing the library collection and designating a children's area with special programs.
Corporation of the Municipality of Tweed $40,000 over one year to improve recreational opportunities in the village of Marlbank by adding an outdoor pavilion to the municipal recreation grounds, providing an all-season facility for public events, concerts, roller-blading and skating.
Corporation of the Town of Smiths Falls $10,000 to update the technological capabilities of the Smiths Falls library to better meet the needs of the community and to enhance accessibility to the library's collections.
Corporation of the Town of Smiths Falls $40,000 over one year to develop a skateboard park, which will provide an affordable and safe recreational opportunity for youth in this rural community.
Corporation of the Township of Augusta $25,000 over one year to enhance library services by improving accessibility and safety for patrons in the area.
Environmental Connections Outdoor Education Association $59,400 over two years to help develop and implement an environmental outdoor education initiative in area schools within the Frontenac Arch Biosphere region of Leeds Grenville.
Food for All Food Bank Serving South Grenville Area Inc. $68,600 over one year to improve working conditions and help with operational costs to better meet the needs of volunteers and clients of this food bank.
Friends of the Frink Centre $42,500 over one year for renewable energy equipment for a sustainable washroom demonstration site supporting educational programs at the H.R. Frink Centre near Belleville, promoting awareness of sound wastewater management and renewable energy.
Habitat for Humanity Greater Kingston & Frontenac $32,800 over one year to help complete a strategic plan and offset operating costs, which will strengthen the organization's ability to build affordable housing for low-income residents of Greater Kingston.
KidSport Renfrew & KidSport Napanee c/o Sport Alliance of Ontario $30,000 over one year to help establish KidSport Renfrew and KidSport Napanee, which will increase access to sports and recreation for children from low-income families. (An additional grant of $30,000 from Champlain will support this activity.)
The Kiwanis Club of Madoc $18,000 over six months to replace the furnace, boiler oil tank and reline the chimney in this well used community hall in Madoc.
Lake Management Planning Program c/o The Friends of the Tay Watershed Association $96,000 over three years to promote a cooperative approach for lake associations and residents in the Tay River, Mississippi River Watershed and Tay Valley Township to undertake beneficial and cost-effective lake management plans.
Loyalist Township Recreation Department $25,000 over one year to replace the rubber floor in the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre in Amherstview, thus improving its health and safety for participants and spectators.
Montague and District Seniors Forget-Me-Not Club #837 $25,000 over one year to pave the parking area and install new windows, improving safety, accessibility and energy efficiency at this rural seniors' hall.
Municipality of Centre Hastings $20,500 over one year to provide a visiting author series for adults and children, a creative writing workshop for adults, drama presentations for children and new computer equipment for the Madoc Public Library.
Outlook Camping Incorporated $13,100 to improve safety conditions and equipment used during wilderness canoe trips that are geared to at-risk youth in the Kingston area.
Perth and District Union Public Library c/o Township of Drummond/North Elmsley $22,200 over six months to increase the accessibility of information for seniors and people with low vision in Perth, Township of Tay Valley and Township of Drummond/North Elmsley.
Prince Edward County Arts Council $25,000 over one year towards staging the Prince Edward County Jazz Festival, the Classical Music Festival and the Maker's Hand arts and craft show for the benefit of local artists, residents and visitors.
Puppets Up! An International Puppet Festival c/o Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce $21,000 over six months to develop and implement a community-based outdoor puppetry festival to be held August 6 and 7, 2005 in Almonte.
Quinte Blades Speed Skating Club $25,000 over one year towards new skates, safety mats and safety equipment to promote the sport of speed skating in the Quinte region and increase participation in the sport at a recreational and competitive level.
Quinte SailAbility $40,000 to install a new accessible dock, expanding the Able Sail program to serve more people with disabilities, providing sailing instruction and opportunities to participate in this healthy outdoor activity.
Reelout Arts Project Inc. $30,200 over two years to improve the organizational capacity of this multi-day film and video festival for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities in Kingston.

Wellington District Business Association (Prince Edward County Marathon Committee) $20,000 over one year to stage the Prince Edward County Marathon in October 2005, hosting up to 1,500 runners in the shoulder tourist season, promoting local fitness and volunteerism.
Wellington Women's Institute c/o Federated Women's Institute $15,000 over one year to furnish the new accessible community meeting room in the Wellington Public Library with tables, chairs and program supplies for the benefit of all residents of the village of Wellington.
Wolfe Island Early Years Drop In Centre (WIEYDIC) Inc. $25,000 over one year to develop a structured volunteer program, modify existing services and develop a sustainability plan.
Youth Diversion Program $47,200 over one year towards a pilot project to support victims of youth crime and misbehaviour and to promote community education and awareness of the issue in the Kingston area.
