Bancroft Skating Club
$10,400 over one year toward the purchase of new equipment and supplies, which will help provide affordable skating instruction to more than 75 young people aged two to 18 in the North Hastings area.
Centre Hastings Skatepark Committee c/o Community Futures Development Corporation of North & Central Hastings and South Algonquin
$17,800 over one year to offer a summer day camp in the Madoc skatepark to more than 160 young people aged five to 12, and to provide park supervision and organized activities for all park users during the summer of 2007.
CORK/Sail Kingston Inc.
$24,000 over one year to recruit and train new volunteers and re-engage existing ones. This will help sustain the program and develop an on-line volunteer entry system and updated database in preparation for 2007 Youth Sailing World Championships.
Corporation of the Town of Smiths Falls
$15,000 over one year for this community library to provide an improved selection of large-print and talking books. It will enable the library to meet the educational and recreational needs of the community.
Corporation of the Township of Beckwith
$26,800 over six months to help restore a 19th century cedar barn that will house local agricultural artifacts and information plaques. The project will help to preserve and celebrate local heritage and bring together diverse groups in the community.
Corporation of the Township of Front of Yonge
$15,000 over one year to assist with the costs of restoring the 1853 Mallory Coach House in order to provide community space for small meetings and gatherings as well as a centre for genealogical research.
Corporation of the Township of Madoc
$15,000 over one year to make improvements to the municipal ball park in Eldorado. Two ball diamonds will be refurbished and equipment purchased for adult and youth softball programs that will provide increased opportunities for physical activity.
Corporation Town of Perth
$52,000 over one year to install a barrier-free playground and user-friendly park for children up to 12 years of age, including children who are autistic, blind, hearing impaired or have physical or developmental disabilities.
Elgin and Area Heritage Society (EAHS)
$25,000 over one year for structural repairs and upgrades to the Elgin Red Brick School. These will help ensure the preservation of a heritage building that will serve as a museum, a resource for local schools and a centre for genealogical research.
Fun With Books
$94,200 over three years to continue providing a program that delivers a book and parenting newsletter each month to enrolled families in Leeds-Grenville. The program encourages an interest in books and reading among pre-schoolers.
Kemptville and District Lacrosse Association
$28,800 over six months for communication materials, uniforms and equipment to help increase participation, improve training opportunities for coaches and enhance skills development for players.
Kingston Symphony Association
$25,000 over one year to assist with producing a high-quality CD recording that will help to raise the profile of the Kingston Symphony and increase knowledge and awareness of classical music among youth.
Learning Disabilities Association of Kingston & District
$130,000 over 18 months to hire an executive director who will help build the organization’s effectiveness, enhance volunteer recruitment and improve the organization’s capacity to deliver services.
Leeds & Grenville 2007 Plowing Match Corporation
$39,500 over 10 months for program costs and materials to recruit, train and manage over 2,000 volunteers in preparation for the 2007 Leeds-Grenville International Plowing Match and Country Festival.
North Hastings Community Cupboard
$43,000 over 18 months to increase the food bank’s capacity. The location will be made more accessible, food supplies increased, volunteers recruited and fundraising improved.
North Lanark Historical Society
$25,000 over one year to update collections records and help research, preserve and present a valuable local history collection. A core of volunteers will also be trained to continue operating this museum in Appleton.
Pakenham Fiddle and Stepdance Competition c/o Almonte Civitan Club
$25,000 to start a traditional fiddling and step dancing competition intended to become an annual event. This will help promote the resurgence of fiddling and step dancing as traditional Ottawa Valley art forms for people of all ages and abilities.
Plainfield Community Homes
$40,000 over two years to offer a nine-week summer day camp program to more than 20 Quinte-area children aged five to 18 years with severe disabilities. The program will provide quality and inclusive social and recreational opportunities.
Prince Edward County Cultural Round Table c/o Taste the County
$32,500 over 15 months to establish a Cultural Route and annual cultural event that showcases multidisciplinary arts for area residents and visitors, promoting tourism and economic development opportunities.
Prince Edward On-line c/o Prince Edward Historical Society
$43,500 over one year to purchase the equipment necessary to preserve, store and digitize the county’s historical documents. Residents, visitors and researchers will then have better access to historical information through the county library’s website.
Quinte Community Learning - Bridging The Gap
$40,000 over one year to provide an after-school and summer theatre arts program. More than 80 low-income children aged 6 to 12 years in the Quinte West and Frankford area will benefit by developing skills, confidence and teamwork abilities.
Quinte Therapeutic Riding Association
$12,500 over one year to enhance the capacity of the organization, enabling it to provide a therapeutic riding program to 27 children with disabilities who will benefit from improved balance, co-ordination and self-confidence.
Recreation Outreach Centre
$54,000 over two years to expand mentoring, social and recreational activities for youth aged 13 to 18 years in the Picton area. Included will be semi-weekly evening programs, monthly and summer special events and excursions.
Rockport Recreation Hall Committee
$34,000 over one year to complete upgrades to this well-used rural facility in order to ensure there is a safer space for community members to gather.
Skeleton Park Music Festival
$5,200 to help market this family-oriented, community music festival in Kingston. The grant will also be used to rent equipment and obtain technical support.
Smiths Falls Gym Stars Gymnastics Club
$25,000 over one year to purchase gymnastics equipment that meets provincial standards. The club will be able to host competitive events and provide continued safe opportunities to participate in physical activity.
St. Lawrence Shakespeare Theatrical Company
$6,900 over one year to assist with the purchase of 25 sets of texts geared to learning, understanding and presenting Shakespearean plays. The materials will help strengthen this Prescott organization's focus on enrichment for students.
Tales and Tunes for Tots c/o Lennox and Addington Resources for Children
$77,500 over two years to strengthen early literacy throughout the county. Books and literacy kits will be distributed to parents of newborns and toddlers and book nooks will be established for young children in six medical clinics.
Town of Bancroft
$75,000 over one year toward the construction of a new skate park in Riverside Park in Bancroft, providing opportunities for free and accessible outdoor recreation to more than 1,450 children and youth in the rural North Hastings area.
Trent Port Historical Society
$10,600 over one year to purchase display cases and items required to protect, preserve and display historical artifacts at the new Trent Port Museum. These upgrades will help residents and visitors increase their awareness of community history.
Trenton Columbus Club Incorporated
$12,800 over one year to insulate the club hall and make safety and kitchen improvements. These will increase energy efficiency and make the facility more comfortable for meetings, events and other use by community members.
Tsi Kionhnheht ne Onkwawenna Language Circle
$35,000 over one year for program costs and supplies to provide community language initiatives for all ages. This program will enhance the organization's capacity to promote the Kanyen'keha (Mohawk) language and culture on the Tyendinaga Territory.
Youth Diversion Program Serving Frontenac County
$126,400 over 30 months to implement the CARE program to address the needs of victims of youth crime and misbehaviour. The program offers victim sensitivity training to youth and volunteers and education to reduce victimization in Kingston-Frontenac.

$55,000 over three years to provide affordable community transportation for up to 600 rural residents with limited incomes in the Bancroft, North Hastings and Haliburton Highlands East areas.
Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kingston
$82,100 over two years to create awareness of the benefits of good nutrition and a physically active lifestyle among disadvantaged and marginalized youth and their families.
Community Care for North Hastings
$48,000 over one year to strengthen the organization's capacity to secure volunteer and funding resources and to help provide a new seniors’ health and fitness program in Maynooth serving residents in the rural Hastings Highlands area.
Community Living Kingston
$57,100 over one year for an Internet-based resource that helps families caring for a member with an intellectual disability to find qualified respite workers. It will also assist persons interested in respite work in Kingston and area.
Corporation of the Municipality of Tweed
$29,500 over one year to improve access to library services for over 2,200 patrons in the rural Tweed area through the installation of a new web-based catalogue system and facility improvements at the library.
Corporation of the Township of Beckwith
$13,700 over one year to provide improved access to research material pertaining to the history of the township and local families.
Corporation of the Township of Wollaston
$41,700 over one year toward a new playground in Centennial Park, providing opportunities for outdoor physical activity for young children from infancy to 12 years of age in Coe Hill.
Dawn House Women's Shelter
$14,800 over one year toward a strategic plan, which will enable the organization to better respond to the needs of over 200 homeless women and their children in the Kingston area each year.
Grenville Fish and Game Club
$25,000 to upgrade equipment to ensure the continued availability of the Little Dreamer Program, which provides diverse community members with opportunities to participate in outdoor recreational activities.
Kingston Lawn Bowling Club c/o Ontario Lawn Bowls Association
$15,500 over six months to purchase equipment and materials that will encourage a safe quality experience for Kingston-area lawn bowlers, including participants who are visually impaired.
Kinsmen Club of Belleville Inc.
$50,600 over one year toward a new roof for the Belleville Kin Centre Pool and Playground Facility, ensuring more safety and comfort for pool and building users.
Lanark County Interval House
$40,000 over two years to expand public education about the roots and effects of violence against women and the comprehensive services available to women and children victims of domestic violence in Lanark County.
Lombardy Agricultural Society
$33,700 over six months to purchase an air conditioning unit and enhance the safety and comfort of this community hall, thereby adding to its year-round use.
Loyalist Gymnastics Club
$36,500 over one year to continue providing safe, quality competitive and non-competitive sports and fitness opportunities in Kingston, by purchasing a spring gymnastic floor.
Municipality of Marmora & Lake
$50,000 over one year for renovations and accessibility improvements to the public library in Marmora, creating a new local history research area, an improved children's section and a community meeting room.

$25,000 over one year to increase accessibility to services by improving signage and display units at the five rural branches of the library.
Quinte Adult Day School
$19,300 over one year toward a marketing plan and resources that will help promote the organization to potential adult-literacy students, volunteers and donors in Belleville and Trenton and South Hastings.

$75,000 over one year toward the development of a splash pad in Centennial Park in Trenton, providing free, accessible, outdoor summer physical activity for Quinte West children.
