More than $32.9 million in OTF Grants to 453 Local and Province-Wide Community Groups

Aileen Carroll, Minister of Culture

The Hon. Aileen Carroll, Ontario Minister of Culture announced earlier this month that  Ontario not-for-profit and charitable organizations received a total of $32,920,000 in funding, including $26,194,000 in Community grants to 418 charitable organizations and $6,726,000 in Province-Wide grants to 35 groups.

“OTF’s latest Community and Province-Wide grants have a positive impact on the local economies and communities across the province, said Minister Carroll.  This investment will foster new community-based partnerships, green solutions, job and business creation, and skills training.”

“In these challenging times, OTF recognizes that it’s more important than ever to support community organizations as they work hard to continue to provide the programs and services necessary to maintain the quality of life for people,” said Helen Burstyn, Chair of the OTF Board of Directors.
