Great Grants Awards are on the Road The Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTFs) Regional Great Grants Awards celebrate the vision, commitment and energy of Ontario’s volunteers and community organizations. This year, OTF is excited to hold 16 award events across the province to celebrate its 25 years of strengthening communities. The Great Grants Awards program showcases outstanding examples of OTF grants that contribute to further the Foundation’s core mission of building healthy and vibrant communities. The Foundation presents the Great Grants Awards every two years with award winners selected by volunteers who serve on the local Grant Review Team. Winners represent each of OTF’s four funding sectors: arts and culture, environment, human and social services and sports and recreation. This year, two special awards are being presented at each of the 16 events. The Grant Review Team Chair’s Award exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and the 25th Anniversary Award is presented for leadership in the not-for-profit sector.
